The Annual Crosstown Tournament was held at Gordon Park on the June 13-15th weekend and contrary to popular thinking – not a game was cancelled! 14 teams participated and the weather was fine for Friday’s games & yikes – what a mess on Saturday with heavy rain & showers but Sunday was a mix of cloud, sun & drizzles and all went as planned. And the MVPs were:

Thanks to all teams that participated and to all coaches for all their hard work, time & dedication. And kudos to the Umpires from the VSUA as they persevered the wet coast weekend.
Thanks to Dylan for some diamond grooming and all coaches for setting up their equipment. And umpires Roger & Joe & Sandra & Ron & Ed & Adam for their resilience! To the VPB for cutting the grass and keeping the washrooms open & TP available. & as always – Trudy …
Congratulations to all players & the winners and those with MVP recognition.
We have long memories for teams that participate.

Thanks
